Lord_Nykon Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 This game reminds me of the master of orion series. i havent seen the game setup yet but I bet it will have the same feel
SWR Staff - Executive Evaders99 Posted December 11, 2005 SWR Staff - Executive Posted December 11, 2005 Not likely - everything I see puts it into the C&C-style of RTS, not the way MOO or even Rebellion do things. Lord_Nykon Posted December 11, 2005 Author Posted December 11, 2005 the gound combat might look kinda like Ground Control
DarthTofu Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 the gound combat might look kinda like Ground Control This is Ground Control to Major Tom! You've really made the day!... Umm, the chorus, lalalalala! yeah, had to do that just because you said Ground Control and being stupid is fun... The nice thing about ground combat is that it doesn't look like you have to build facilities as you invade- that always annoyed me in the Galactic battlegrounds games as well as Age of Empires and Battle for Middle Earth... still, great rts games... And this one comes out just in time for my birthday... 12/14/07Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
Lord_Nykon Posted December 11, 2005 Author Posted December 11, 2005 Yeah, I like it when you have to build or select a force before you attack somewhere. C&C is awesome but Rome: Total war Idea is better
General_Crespin Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 I prefer the build-up-an-empire way myself, but GC/GCII are pretty fun. I wish more games had GCII's camera. http://crespin.xwlegacy.net/pics/Shadowkeeper99a.jpg
