DarthTofu Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 I swear, this guy is like Gary Larson reborn if you ever read farside... Just minus the cows. This archive has tons of comics, most of which i thought were pretty good. http://www.nevtron.si/borderline/old.html#cartoons 12/14/07Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
Darth_Rob Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 You weren't kidding. It's his humor, plus his drawing! I loved the Far Side, but since he retired, I've been forced to read Non-Sequsomething in the daily comics. Sigh. Your feeble skills are no match for the power of the Dark Side! AdmiralToguroAni Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 Great find, Tofu. I got a taste of nostalgia reading those. My newspaper doesn't carry any of those one panel comics. We pretty much only get Garfield and Get Fuzzy. And the Boondocks. Thats the only good one =/. I wonder how this guy makes his money, considering he encourages people to sell his work for their own profit. Count Dooku is the strongest Star Wars character as depicted in the movies. All hail Christopher Lee.

DarthTofu Posted December 9, 2005 Author Posted December 9, 2005 What the heckaroonie is "Get Fuzzy"? Only the most awesome comic in papers this side of the 22nd century! Its Canadian (I think), or else Northern-American. There's basically a guy who has two pets, bucky and Satchel who are a dog and a cat respectively. Satchel is the nice guy who's just kind of dim witted. Bucky is an idiot with an overly large ego and stomach... Oh, yes, and he's very proud of his fang. 12/14/07Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
Mad78 Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 sounds a bit like Garfield. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
Darth_Rob Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 I have never heard of it, seeing how I live in Northern North America. Our paper is full of pointless comics that are repetitive and predictable. Your feeble skills are no match for the power of the Dark Side! DarthTofu Posted December 9, 2005 Author Posted December 9, 2005 http://www.comics.com/comics/getfuzzy/ The current "Get Fuzzy" comic plus the last thirty days worth. Darth_Rob Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 Thanks Tofu. I checked out a few, and they did make me chuckle. I'll have to check out the rest after work. Thumper Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 "Get Fuzzy" is awesome. (And I would like to mention that Satchel is the dog and Bucky is the cat, not the other way around. ) The strip takes place in Boston, IIRC. I have a few Get Fuzzy strips hanging up at work--the top front half of my filing cabinet is covered with various comics. "FoxTrot" is my absolute favorite comic strip, though, and makes up the majority of the displayed ones at work. -Thumper TIE pilots shake at the sound of my name! ...Hey, wait! You're not supposed to be shaking with laughter! Which way did they go? How many of them were there? How fast were they going? I must find them! I am their LEADER!

Darth_Rob Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 Foxtrot is actually a really good comic. Unfortunatly, it only comes in my Sunday paper, so I don't read it every day. Basically, its about a family with this young computer nerd/Star Wars fan harassing his sister. I have a bunch of the comics cut out and on my board in my room that are Star Wars-related! DarthTex Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 I liked the one when AotC came out and the "nerds" when to the theater (The main character had "a" ticket and was wearing a Jango Fett helmet, and all of his buddies had "copies" of the admission ticket and were wearing Clone trooper helmets). PS Darth_Rob, getting close to 500 posts!! Finally, after years of hard work I am the Supreme Sith Warlord! Muwhahahaha!! What?? What do you mean "there's only two of us"?

GAH! Still, TPM ones were great. "Okay, guys, that comes out to $15.75."(Waves hand) "I believe a dollar will be sufficient.""No, it won't.""Wise of them to hire people immune to jedi mind tricks... Someone will lend me $14.75..." I have three books full of old FoxTrot comics in my room... And I get it all seven days of the week Foxtrot has its own site, too. Hell, sometimes i just do NewYorkTimes.com They have every single comic in the paper there. 12/14/07Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
Darth_Rob Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 I really should find a site and read up on the ones I miss during the week. Your feeble skills are no match for the power of the Dark Side! My Website http://fp.profiles.us.playstation.com/playstation/psn/pid/BigBadBob113.png
Thumper Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 I think between http://www.comics.com and http://www.ucomics.com , you might be able to find most of the more well-known comic strips. -Thumper TIE pilots shake at the sound of my name! ...Hey, wait! DarthTofu Posted January 28, 2006 Author Posted January 28, 2006 CLEAR! CLEAR! We have a pulse- faint, but still there! If you're going to post anything here, I suggest you do so soon! Anyways, here is my personal bordom/ I really really really don't want to read "The Prince" (By Machoveli) contribution to swr and stupidity in general: I decided to color one of the comics that I enjoyed. DarthTofu Posted January 30, 2006 Author Posted January 30, 2006 umm... I don't exactly know how to make it any bigger.
