lots of new models in the works?

Seems like theres a lot of talk in the General/outside interest areas. I'd like to bring some life to this forum and see what models are being made and what ones are being scrapped. Lets see what we've got:

 

Ranger Class Gunship: Completed? Texturing? Modelled? Scrapped? TBA?

 

Nova Cruiser: Completed? Texturing? Modelled? Scrapped? TBA?

 

Venator Battleship: Completed? Texturing? Modelled? Scrapped? TBA?

 

Yuuzan Vong Frigate: Completed? Texturing? Modelled? Scrapped? TBA?

 

Firefly-class Cruiser: Completed? Texturing? Modelled? Scrapped? TBA?

 

Invisible Hand: Completed? Texturing? Modelled? Scrapped? TBA?

 

I'd like to see how these models are progressing, if at all. If everyone is just busy around this time then no problem at all. I just want to know which ones might actually be done vs. which ones have been forgotten (crosses fingers on that Firefly cruiser being ready)

Well for me, the list goes a little something like this:

 

(In semi-order)

Defender Class Star Destroyer: Modelled, textured (A very special thanks to Mask!) and needs re-modelling

 

Endurance fleet Carrier: Ditto

 

Ranger Gunship: Modelled, needs refinement and a higher detail version, no texturing started

 

 

Sacheen Frigate: Modelled

Other models: modelled but no textures or Rebellion trials

 

I want to get the DSD done quickly, though at the moment I'm playing with high poly models after getting annoyed at Rebellion's engine making my model look dismal.

After finishing a few of my HP models, I'll start back on the LPs - I'll post a list in a few hours of models I've got done, and see which ones are wanted to first.

Well i have been quite busy on the modelling side with on one side bobandrupert's model of an AT-AT and on the other some guys with whom i an making an animation. And finally the animation on which I am working for the school computer competition.

 

Anyway for the models on which i am working:

 

Nova Cruiser: Modelling finished and i am slowly making up some textures for it.

 

Venator Cruiser: Modelling to be finished. Something i can try and advance this weekend.

 

Yuuzan Vong Frigate: Can't remember if i was going to work on this one. I will try and take a look at it in my freetime.

Not big into Vong ships, honestly, but I tried out the Hapan Battlecruiser and it works fine on my comp. Good job!

Arg. I'm having trouble forcing ship battle with the computer to see what the ships look like. Hmm... Just had an idea. Will update in an hour.

 

Fascinating. It's a very interesting look that you've gone for with the heavy cruiser. In terms of shape I find myself comparing it to a Golan 3 Platform in many respects.

The rocky look of the ship is well done. When looking at the ship from forward and just slightly above, the armatures of the ship look almost like a ribcage that's opened up alowing the larger center most one to escape. Kinda like the Alien, like something out of a horror movie, quite terrifying.

 

The larger one toward the back looks like a giant bridge tower when looking at the ship from other directions.

 

The Frigate analog almost seems to be something else entirely. It's very um... green?

 

This is an excelent opening step, though I do have some ideas. I need some sketchpaper my scanner and some time. I don't know what you'll think of my idea but I'd rather show a concept then merely discuss it. I'll try and post later tonight.

I'am very impressed about your work.

 

The only thing, that I could do, was create new Cards - and I will submit them next time. (I hope it will work)

I loved Rebellion, I know that other Games like Empire at War etc. are better in graphics and Battles, but the Gameplay is in Rebellion unbeatable.

 

I've make my own Rebellion Game, with your superb work.
