Aight, I saw the poll on the home page about a wiki, and I just have to ask what the heckaroonie it is. Apparently, there are 23 more people out there who have the same question as me.

It's like an online dictionary - filled with "wiki"(simple jargon that means nothing) articles about . . . anything really. You can find most things in there. Try it, search for some Star Wars thing and there's probably an article.

The thing with the wiki is that its freely editied and therefore allows people to add their own knowledge.

See something wrong in an article? Fix it.

 

So on and so forth. And I don't know about all wikis, but Wikipedia at least, keeps a copy of each change, so if an article is defaced, you can revert it to the previous copy.

Well that's handy... I don't use it too often, and it isn't always accurate, but Wikipedia can be rather helpful on some things...
