mIRC

I have decided it might be profitable if the people working on Reb Reloaded, could talk realtime! This can be accomplished most easlily with mIRC. This is a simple to use chat program, with some great features.

 

If you want to talk to me, or anyone else that goes for this idea, go to:

Download the newest version of mIRC and install it.

 

enter a name, email and such.

 

then add a new server

 

irc.swcombine.com

 

port is 6667 i believe

 

Click ' Connect to IRC Server '

 

 

after you are connected, type: /join #swrebellion

and then join. Thats it, and its MUCH easier than it sounds!

Maybe we should stick to old #swrebellion, and does anyone remember the old server name?

Hmmm, back then according to the rather cryptic informations I stranded on swcic.net for a server and #swrebellion as a channel, but everytime I was there nobody else was.

I'm not exactly adept at IRC in general, so I may in fact not be making a point at all - let alone a valid one, but wouldn't it be more convenient to utilize an undernet channel as opposed to a proprietary server?

I am fairly sure Stratus is the owner (or at least admin) of that IRC server

Yes, Stratus is running the server so its fine for our use as well.
