Trejiuvanat Posted August 31, 2005 Posted August 31, 2005 Today, August 31st, Michael Sheard passed away at his home, on the Isle of Wight. Source: http://www.michaelsheard.com Resquiat in Pacem, Admiral Ozzel. May the Force be with you. http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
DarthTex Posted August 31, 2005 Posted August 31, 2005 God's speed on your final flight Admiral. Long live the Empire. Finally, after years of hard work I am the Supreme Sith Warlord! Muwhahahaha!! What?? What do you mean "there's only two of us"?
Paul Posted August 31, 2005 Posted August 31, 2005 I saw him in quite a few films. He was an excellent actor. Farewell. - Grand Moff Conway
DarthTofu Posted August 31, 2005 Posted August 31, 2005 I only knew him as failing for the last time, but in respect to him, I'll put his character on a planet and blow it up with a Death Star... Rest in Peace, amigo. And say hi to Alec Guiness for me... 12/14/07Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
Grand_Admiral_Thrawn Posted August 31, 2005 Posted August 31, 2005 It's sad when an actor who was so willing to go to conventions passes away. I know he will be missed by every Imperial fan out there. History is on the move, Captain. Those who cannot keep up with it will be left behind, to watch from a distance. And those who stand in our way will not watch at all.
Bill Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 We say goodbye to an excellent actor, goodbye Admiral Ozzel. The force is strong in my family. No, Luke, I am your father.
Thrawn90 Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 Yeah, just read about that afew mins ago... It was kinda sad, not one other person in my household knew who he was... Me: Did you hear? Michael Sheard passed away today. Sis: Who?Me: You know. The Star Wars actor. Sis: Another one? Didn't they all die allready?Me: STFU you little (CENSORED)ing (CENSORED)er. You don't know a thing about (CENSORED)ing (CENSORED) (CENSORED), so just go (CENSORED) yourself, (CENSORED)!!! Just to be fair to her, though, she is only 12... besides which, I just gave her an industrial-grade permenent-marker beard in her sleep. Maybe will post pics later, when ya can see her expression. A little childish, I know... but it is sooo worth it. ...really......I swear...
Krytos Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 It's always sad when anyone passes away. Rest in peace Michael Sheard http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://img152.imageshack.us/img152/1333/3dartistbanneranimationws1.gifhttp://img154.imageshack.us/img154/4026/rebellionbannerdi2.gif

DarthTofu Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 A touching commemorative... Now let's see that beard on your sister's face, Thrawn! 12/14/07Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
Thrawn90 Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 I just couldn't resist rubbing the pics in her face when she woke up, and she can be quite...persuasive...when she's angry (*rubs bruise on arm*) Or maybe I'm just a compulsive liar... You'll never know... (She still can't completely get the marker off)
AdmiralToguroAni Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 "Or maybe I'm just a compulsive liar... You'll never know... " I didn't know you were related to Obi-Wan Kenobi, Thrawn! Anyway, its sad that the old SW actors are getting old and dying. It really does say something about the movie's fanbase though. Most actors with a role the size of Ozzel's wouldnt even be remembered, much less mourned. Thanks to the fans of the movies, however, he'll be remembered. I think its great. Count Dooku is the strongest Star Wars character as depicted in the movies. All hail Christopher Lee.
Mad78 Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 Yes, he shall not be forgotten. The film haa given him a small part of immortality. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
DarthTofu Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 Yeah... All the people from Star Wars that actually could act either got a lifetime achievement award and retired or are dead... Now we're stuck with Hayden Christianson and Jake Loyyd for actors. Joy. 12/14/07Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
Mad78 Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 Haydn is okay but Jake...***shiver*** Did you guys leave a comment on the guy's site? http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
Floros Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 Rest in peace Admiral...By the way, which role did he play in "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade"? " The darkside? I've been there! Do your worst!.. " - Kyle Katarn"Why do I sense we've picked up another pathetic life-form?" - Obi-Wan Kenobi http://img148.exs.cx/img148/6299/shuttle8xc.gif
DarthTofu Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 Donaven. Walter Donaven. I think. I dunno, actually... 12/14/07Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
Grand_Admiral_Thrawn Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 Ozzel did not play a role in The Last Cruisade, that was Veers. History is on the move, Captain. Those who cannot keep up with it will be left behind, to watch from a distance. And those who stand in our way will not watch at all.
Trejiuvanat Posted September 5, 2005 Author Posted September 5, 2005 Ozzel did not play a role in The Last Cruisade, that was Veers. Ozzel was Hitler in the Last Crusade. http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
Grand_Admiral_Thrawn Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 Wow, really? It looks nothing like him! Three Star Wars actors in one movie... History is on the move, Captain. Those who cannot keep up with it will be left behind, to watch from a distance. And those who stand in our way will not watch at all.
Jahled Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 Veers was the German officer who drinks from a goblet thinking it's the Cup of Christ, only to discover it's the wrong one, and subsequently die and horrible, dreadful, painful, and extremely agonizing death.... I can't watch the Last Crusade anymore without expecting his character to suddenly say, 'You may begin your landing, the shield generator will be down in moments.' http://www.jahled.co.uk/smallmonkeywars.gif
Floros Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 Yes, now that you mentioned it, he DID play Hitler... It seems good-old-Lucas uses the same actors in several of his films... " The darkside? I've been there! Do your worst!.. " - Kyle Katarn"Why do I sense we've picked up another pathetic life-form?" - Obi-Wan Kenobi http://img148.exs.cx/img148/6299/shuttle8xc.gif
DarthTofu Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 THough thank god he didn't use Mark Hammil or Jake Loyd over again! Wow... I have to watch the movie again... 12/14/07Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
