Ok, I just got a new computer with 1.5ghz and 512 mb of ram, and I started Starwars warlords. It played crappier than my 700mhz 128mb ram computer. It became a slideshow after I built one star destroyer. Then I started the normal Homeworld 2 and it played like a slideshow too!!! Whats up? Advice Please. :D

I think you're being hit on the video card performance. What video card are you using? Have the latest drivers for it?

I have an Intel Extreme Graphics Prosesser or something like that. The computer is a Dell Latitude 3400, and it is new so i dont know if the best drivers are installed, but I did install the latest drivers for it, and World of Warcraft works fine on it. I dont know the problem.

Intel integrated graphics is bad. You'll need to get a real video card, Nvidia or ATI

Agreeing with Evaders the Intel Chipset intergrated VGA systems are very bad on some games I have noticed a very uneven performance with them from experience and you will DEFINATELY need to invest in a real GFX card. Anything from a GF5xxx or ATI 9600 up will do good for HW2 and the mod. However isn't the Latitude a laptop? In which case upgrade to a new graphics card will be quite hard from what I hear. Good luck anyway.

No Archibald you cannot fly me home! Especially because that which you are sitting in is a tin foil covered, card board box.

Did you instal it to the same extent as you did before as well? As in minimal, recomended, or full. That could make a differance. Also if you have other stuff in the same file, or the files for the game scattered that can slow it down. Though I agree, an upgrade to G force is in oroder.

I dont think ill be needing a new graphics card because my old computer that I was talking about had an Intel Integrated card worse than this one and it played fine. I dont know if I can afford it either because since its a laptop ill have to take it to geeksquad and have them do it...and that would set back my Xbox 360 savings. I dont know...any ideas on what I should do?

If you got your old PC play it on that and keep saving for the 360!!!!!

well if you need a new card just get a Geforce 4 tnt, the those cards run warlords with no problem and should be very cheap, the Geforce 6 is good option (part for you saving for the xbox).

Integrated cards on laptops are worse. At least with desktops, you'll usually have your own dedicated video memory. Laptops usually share main memory, resulting in a really slow, if it runs at all, performance.
