Trying to get this to work on XP...

But strangely it won't. It will autoplay the menu, and I click install, but nothing happens. The music just resets and the menu exits. Help?

When I got Windows XP, I had no problem loading it up.

Hmm, it's kind of strange that lately people have been having problems with Rebellion and XP.

I've got it installed on two computers, both running XP and they run fine, and neither have had anything special changed in Window's setup.

 

Xaph, I hope you get it running, though just out curiosity what are some stats about your computer such as CPU, graphics card, drivers etc. - I'm beginning to wonder whether the problem lies elsewhere . . .

 

Still, the Windows compatibility mode should help, and with any luck rectify the problem post haste.

Maybe its to do with the windows service pack you are running?

I got this the christmas before last, and it was up to date then. I have no service packs, although I'm trying to get some.

Try using EndItAll to close all that isn't necessary to the running of the system and try again.
