I thought I'd keep the introduction thread to one post per person, so I will discuss the assignments here instead:

Eko - "ideas, research, managment (if you need it) and story writing. "

 

Anyone can do ideas, so for research how much exactly do you know about D20? Do you have any sourcebooks? I think that would be immensely useful because I myself only have 2 or 3 Star Wars encyclopedias, the rest of the info I find on sites like the galactic empire databank, star wars db, theforce swenc, etc. If you are familiar with all this and more then maybe you should become a researcher?

 

Management, we will need more as we get more members but they will probably end up specializing in a field, like you could manage all the research members (theoretically). At the moment there really isn't anyone to manage though .

 

For story writing, can we see some examples of fanfics, or anything else you could back-up your claim with? You understand we wouldn't want to appear like a bunch of high schoolers who aren't going anywhere with this, now would we . An english major/minor would help .

You know, I must have a hazy memory, but I don't remember seeing any of your models . I did some digging and I only found Krytos and the_mask posting shots of them. Could we see a couple of models before I jog down your name as Modeler? .

So if all of you guys could just reply and say what you think, we can get this process going. I think we shouldn't start any intensive work (modeling, programming) until we at least have mappers, 2d artists, and programmers who have BF2 .

We run on d20 over there, we don't really number crunch as thats the mods job not ours...so as in the actual rules im hazy. Research though i've got a good background in it, I have quite a few source books in PDF.

Well, the issue with that is that they are all in a resticted thread on SWS as we are in the middle of a campaign, however rest assured that I am studying English Literature next year for A-Level...i'm not exactly sure how that compares to US standards, or Hungarian...i'm well read, I do tend to get through books (as long as they grab my attanetion ) If you wait a bit, i;m about to get involved in the RPG on this site, Stellar's Rapora Wars, so i'll have some stuff in there...

Any kind of further introduction you want to add? How is your EU mod going anyways, last I saw you guys barely got started. I don't want you to be in over your head here.

Hmm, that lightsaber does look familiar . Now that others have seen the models I'll go ahead and put you down as "Modeler" then.

If that's the case, I think we will need a few blurbs pretty soon to accompany some concept art I've been trying to find someone to draw, and we definitely need some more LISTings.

I was assured, but now I am doubly assured? I've seen Mad78 for a long time here (on swr.com) so I knew he was good for it, just had a hazy memory that's all .

Good, Venator did a real rough draft of the Juggernaut already, so maybe if I had a list of Rebel vehicles you could try doing one of those or anything you want? I'd like the movie,books,rpg order of preference though. Maybe start with something that has never been modeled before?

Okay, so you want to go ahead and make a rough draft of a website and we can see how it goes from there? With Eko doing a blurb and a concept art and render or two this might shape up nicely .
