You may have already noticed that I hunt quite a lot of game musics on the web :)

Now I need a bit help, perhaps you can guide me. Here is an excellent composer Mark Knight, just listen to the Populous tracks, even if you didn't play that game at all. It was fabulous. And now I must have them in full lenght, since these are cropped :)

ANY IDEAS?

I love game music as well, like the original Command and Conquer music :D

I'll have to download these once I get some bandwidth back.

As for your question, you can always try to see if he's got a site - a lot of musicians have some form of music player on their sites now. You generally can't download them unfortunately, though at least you can listen to them

VG music is my favorite genre, actually. Some of my favorite are:

Disgaea: Hour of Darkness (PS2)

Final Fantasy 7 (PSX)

Tales of Symphonia (Gamecube)

Sonic Adventure Series (Dreamcast/Gamecube)

Makai Kingdom: Chronicles of the Sacred Tome (PS2)

I typically prefer console music over computer game music. I find the perkier, happy themes more fun to listen to

Count Dooku is the strongest Star Wars character as depicted in the movies. All hail Christopher Lee.

Hi. That tracks arn't cropped at all. They are the full versions. The thing is, in DK2 the music was interective. So, it was cut up into 4 bar sections and interactively branched between different 4 bars. I also recorded the tracks as straight linear tunes which is what you can download. As for Pop3, they again are the full tracks but the percussion loops are missing since they were added interactively by the game.

If you go here

There are a couple of Pop3 mixes WITH percussion which arn't advertised on the site.

Glad you like the music anyway :)

mark.
