And I have a theorie but first i must know how many men there are in a division. Lazybuns. A division is a large unit which usually consists of 10,000 men. It is often composed of several brigades or regiments. In its own turn, several divisions make up a corps. - Scathane, Imperial Head of Useless Statistics The only rank in the Star Wars universe that uses epaulets are Grand Admirals, though where that developed from I'm not sure. None of the descriptions of Thrawn in the books states that he wears gold epaulets. The only Grand Admiral who does is Zaarin. How about plain vanity? T could stad for the regiment and K for the division and 421 could simply be a soldier number. That would rather be the other way around then, wouldn't it? First letter for Division, second for Regiment and the number for the number in the regiment. If it were the other way around, we would have a TK10,000 walking around somewhere as well, which, although not impossible, seems a bit ludicrous...
