Hi everyone! For those that care, I've just about finished with the cool event pics. Actually, my sister drew these so I give credit to her. They're very anime-esque, but thats actually what I wanted. Anyway, a brief intro to the characters you'll be seeing:

 

Yuki Hirameki: a 7-year old psychic girl who possesses powers beyond belief. Unfortunately, she's rather immature and prone to causing trouble with her inquisitive nature. Once she gets back from training, though, she's much more mature (replaces Luke)

 

Golgoth: A despot covered in gold armor and a blue cape. He is one of the two co-rulers of the Apokoliptian Empire, and seems to focus on the enforcement part of governing. (Replaces Vader)

 

Valentine: A woman of unmatched intelligence and kindness. She is an excellent diplomat, but has limited combat ability, too. The PanGalactic Federation uses her as their mascot--the friendly face that people know as the government. (Replaces Leia)

 

Darkseid: A stone-cold co-ruler of the Empire. He guides the subordinates of the Empire and commands absolute respect. Though Golgoth often causes more death, rumors say that Darkseid may be even more powerful....(replaces the Emperor)

For the record about Darkseid's costume: When he fights Yuki he puts on the battle armor, but for the weaker Valentine, he's not afraid to wear his regular clothes.

Star Wars in Anime style? Well, that's new I assume.

I like this simplicity of the images. Very narrative and simple, with very strong colors.

I'll tell her you said that, La Forge. Coming from another artist, that would mean a lot. I always thought the original pics in Rebellion looked too grainy, and so we're trying to make it more cartoony, since I for one would rather play a bright, vibrant game than a darker one, even if its more realistic.

I like even if, and this is just my thought, the background could perhaps be slightly more detailed. But tell your sister her characters look really fantastic.

 

One last question. When i saw the name I couldn't resist. Do the the people of the PanGalactic Federation drink PanGalactic Gaggle blaster?

The people of the PGF LOVE the Gaggle Blaster. Its the national drink! Its also standard procedure for all the doors to open and close with "ahhhhhhhh"
