Installing Warlords 0.45

I have downloaded the file warlords0.45.exe but it does not seem to do anything.

 

When I double click it a console window quickly flashes up then disappears. In the chat room it was suggested that the problem may be due to a virus on my computer but I know this is not the case (I did a few scans anyway to make sure).

I am using Windows XP Pro (Corporate Edition) SP2 with all the latest MS updates, socket 939 with AMD 64 (3200+) and 256mb corsair ram so I doubt it's an incompatibility there.

Alternately I could download one of the old ones and see if that works and patch it up from there?

 

P.S. I recently saw the mod in a PC Gamer (UK) article and I think I read that it was on the DVD or I saw it on the DVD. Could you tell me which issue of PCG this was because I can't find it
