Extracting errors, no tutorial?

Recommended Posts

Every time the question is asked "how do I extract the rebellion models", someone always refers to Mask's first tutorial. I decided to go and look it up, but it isnt there! You can download it, but it says "action cancelled" once you open it! Now I can read the other .chm files like the New Fighters Tutorial, but this one is broken. Can someone please either fix it or post it here? Thanks

okay. I extracted the file I wanted as a .x file, as the tutorial instructs. However, I dont understand how to import it into gmax. Can someone help me with this? I want to modify the design for the Strike Cruiser.

You could save it with Lith as a 3ds file.

But I'd rather give it a try and model something else, than using the old model for anything else than quick reference
