I was originally surfin' the web for info on the X-wing space combat simulator when I stumbled across your site. I'm also a Rebellion fan. I have only played the "original virgin" version so far. Most of the people here are newcomers who I dont know. Igor, Evader and Stratus and Paul as well as Grand Admiral Thrawn are the names coming to my mind who were members back when I was before it switched to this new layout. Even though my thing says I joined in 2002 I actually was a member long before like back in 1999.  Anyway, I found this site when I was looking around for this editor, RebEd, and I decided to join up to see about any new ways of modding Rebellion and making it play better and that sort of thing. In any event its good to see new members. DarthTex Posted June 15, 2005 Share Posted June 15, 2005 Finding good sites is a hard thing to do. I found several but either they aren't update-to-date, abandoned? or have a very narrow scope. I can remember seeing the original movie back in '77 as a kid (I hope this doesn't date me). I've been hooked ever since. Like I had mentioned, I used to play X-wing, and then Tie Fighter (games from the '90's). I don't really go after all of the "products" following a movie release (though I bet several are quite exciting). Dark Forces kind of burned off "just anything SW" . Strategy games (Rebellion) are very thought provoking and give me a chance to employ my logic against the AI (weak AI I should say ). My enthusiasm won't be fading just because the release date of RotS fades to history. I plan on checking the forums frequently and adding my two bits as necessary. Â See ya around amigo.
