Help -- Installed Rebellion, but the screen isn't centered?

Question

Posted

I'm not entirely sure what is wrong. I am running Windows XP; and I understand that it might not work with it, but that's the thing --

I can get the game loaded, and can even start to play. However, there is a large black line along the bottom of the screen as if I don't have the view adjusted right -- or that the screen isn't centered. Because I can't see the top of the game.

Also, the entire game-play area is sort of supersized.

Any ideas on how to combat this? I've tried changing the compatibilty; but I haven't had much luck with that. I know I am probably doing something wrong, as I'm not that computer literate.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Um...I dont know your computer knowledge but maybe try running the game in the Windows 95/98 compatibility mode. I hope that helps.

Would simply adjusting your monitor help? You'd have to change it back once you exited, but I had one game where I had to manually center it each time.
