Guest JediIgor Posted May 20, 2005 Posted May 20, 2005 dude http://www.ibuypower.com is the BEST! Stop advertising please. A 3000 dollar budget nice. If you want to play games etc.. 'Dude dont get a Dell' Dell XPS? Umm yeah. ====================== People who have said bad things about Dells, have you actually owned a home Dell? School computers don't count, because school computers always suck. kaja, do yourself a favor and buy something with good tech support. You could go and try to max out your $3000 budget but you know what, a month later that kind of computer would have its price slashed by hundreds of dollars anyways. You seem like a computer guy though, from one to another, buy a Dell, you want to spend your time designing IDUs not trying to figure out what the hell is wrong with your computer and running around and shipping your hardware back and forth.
SWR Staff - Executive Evaders99 Posted May 20, 2005 SWR Staff - Executive Posted May 20, 2005 Just talked to the Dell guys yesterday for my job, had a broken optical DVD-RW drive. Got it shipped from Ausin overnight, came the next day. Was pretty sweet.. gold technical support haha. Spent an hour on the phone, but eh.. whatever. For a laptop only a few months old, free replacements are cool. Guest JediIgor Posted May 20, 2005 Posted May 20, 2005 I am not avertizing I am just stateing my opinion You linked to that site twice, and you're not even giving us any reason why it's "the best." I don't particularly like conjectures, and I certainly don't like a post that is just a URL to some other site.

kaja Posted May 21, 2005 Author Posted May 21, 2005 They send us the parts, we build them, program the harddrives and do other stuff, Then stick it in burn-in for 72 hours, then do the Final test, fix any problems they may have, pack them up, send them off, and wait for you're next batch. http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s152/Dave-Mastor/Cluster6.jpg
