That Republic Tie looks familiar Btw, you can save a lot of polys on your models, if you use bevel effects on parts of the texture. This way, you can simulate the depth, like on the sides and on the gun ports, without having to model them. Photoshop is the best and easiest tool, to create these effects, IMO. If you need help with texturing, perhaps my texturing tutorial additioncan help you, or any interested parties. DarkForces Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 THis game is the Fzzzvzzzolte I love the game itself, and the fact that you are working on modding it to star wars.... One quick request: Is it possible for you to have it be 10 systems/map, and 20-50 maps for the whole galaxy? I realize this would be a ton of work, but perhaps there is a way to randomly generate the systems in the first place, then mod them from there? One other quick Q: Have you found a way to incorporate a 'Galaxy' map into the game, so a player can look at the galactic overview (besides just the Empire pop-up)? Sorry, I guess I'm the wierd one on here, but I always like bigger grander strategy than small localized ones. The great thing about hegaemonia was it was kinda both. I just remember always being disapointed in how few systems there were on any given map sequence. I do not ask this with nothing to offer. If you can show me where to get the modding programs, I would be willing to help Anyways, regardless of the rest or anything else, THANK YOU FOR MODDING HEGAMONIA!
