So I've gotten the ships position to output to the hw2.log file using the key bindings (just to F1 right now) and the selection of the current ship.

As well, I'd like to get the current camera position, but there doesn't seem to be a function to do that. Is there a way to get the camera position in the LUA while running in-game?

I'd like to have it so I can press a button and get a readout of where all the ships are, and where the camera is. This will definitely help planning and creating these missions. Possibly the speed of the ships and so forth.

There doesn't seem to be a way to get any identification for the actual ship being selected. The LUA uses only the SobGroup names, each individual ship doesn't seem to be identified.

So well, I'm stuck. Trying to do the beginning of ESB with the probe droids, but can't get my ISD to stop where I want it, and the probes to come out where I want it. It's just boot-leg. I guess whenever someone figures out the NIS, I could do a better job.

Oh well, here's hoping for an actual mission editor using the in-game engine. :)

Fighting is terrible, but not as terrible as losing the will to fight.
