Actually, mine and Mad's defence- and attack-ratings are pretty much equal, I've got 2.11 million attack and 2.26 million defence, it's part of our strategy to stay all-around

 

But I think Mad has a bit more than me everywhere seeing as he's 1000 places ahead of me .

It's really bugging me now that I can't upgrade anymore, I need 640,000 to upgrade my defences to the next level. Though everytime I get over around 400,000 I get attacked and loose it all.

Hmm, I might have to start attacking people - so far I've only attacked those who've attacked me . . .

Trying buying knives Krytos. That way when you sell them repaired you get 3/4 of the original price back. You can use weapons to act like a sort of bank

I'm finding I can't steal great amounts of cash...I've got 220 attack soldiers but only 37 with weapons, is my inability to steal a consequence of that somehow?

To get the most gold, you want to attack people that have a bigger army size than you. That usually means harder targets, those who are better prepared to deal with your attacks with their defense.

Thus why spying is key.. or if you don't want to invest in that, just spend 1 attack turn to 'probe' their defense before doing a 15 turn attack. Be warned that the randomization factor is high... you can beat someone by a fair amount, only to find later that the randomization makes it go the other way - you waste 15 attack turns then

I have come to realize the essence of this game. There are two kinds of players, the ones that are rising, and the ones that rose and are now in declive.

 

It is the latter that you want to attack. They rose fastly, attacked as crazies, then were braked and then started to fall, they still have sizable armies but low defense, they have good amounts of money because they maybe wanting to upgrade to a high-cost upgrade. when you are beginning to play because they seem rather strong with 1000+ armies in the 90000s ranks you don't fight them. I have now a 525 army and rank 59270, i take on those guys and get paid well.

Some one changed my commander to Knight_KSC!!!

 

And I can't change back, it says:

 

You can only change you're commander twice per age.

 

I reported it, but they aren't doing anything about it
