orko Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 Isn't there a difficulty mod for this game making it more difficult? If so, where can I find it?
Mad78 Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 There are three difficulty mods easy, normal and hard. If you want it even harder, use RebEd to modifiy stats. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
teukros Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 For example, if you want to play the Alliance, use RebEd to cut the Material and Maintenance costs of all Imperial ships, starfighters and troops by half, three quarters, or whatever. You should be able to use the "mass alteration" tool for this - enter (say) 75% and drag it over to the Imperial Ships MAT column, or something like that... Cutting MAT and MNT by 75% should mean that the Empire will start out with four times as much stuff. Put an overpowered Solar Ionization Reactor in between two cheap-ass engines and a couple of laser cannon, put a chair with a rudimentary flight control and targeting computer on top, and surround the (unpressurized!) pilot with enough armor plate so he doesn't fry in a tenth of a second... riiiiiiiiight
orko Posted March 21, 2005 Author Posted March 21, 2005 Thanks for the replies guys. I found the TC link, and now have the difficulty mods. Thanks again!
Cain Posted April 5, 2005 Posted April 5, 2005 Isn't there a difficulty mod for this game making it more difficult? If so, where can I find it? Try the A'N scenario series (II-III) man ! If you can conquer a galaxy starting with one ship - for example - or even with only one planet or defeating the Empire only starting with Luke (*no ships or planets) - or defending Coruscant only starting with that planet - this will be hard - believe me - The Trivium Organization - Community Manager -- Petroglyph Fan Forums - CoAdmin & Human Resources Manager -
