Does Rebellion work on new pc's?

Question

Posted

I haven't played in a while and I'm about to load rebellion onto my computer that has windows NT as its operating system. Will my pc allow me to run a game that was designed for an older operating system?

I can't vouch for 2000, but it works fine on my desktop running XP...now my laptop is another matter...

-"He's no good to me dead..."

-"What if he doesn't survive? He's worth a lot to me."

-"Put Captain Solo in the Cargo Hold"

If needs be you can install the program and then choose to run it in Win 95 conpatability mode (right click the shortcut and choose the link). That is what i had to do to get my version working. Works like a dream :)

I run Rebellion on XP on a laptop, it runs ok but the screen size in the game is reduced to about half the screen centred in the middle. Is there any way to improve this?

Laptop specs are:

Intel Celeron 2.4Ghz

15" screen

Model is EiSystem 4415 (UK)

I can still play the game ok but having a smaller screen makes it difficult sometimes.

Ewoks. They may be short but they'll bite your leg off if provoked.
