Logos and/or Mascots

I am all for Zoot, who vote Zoot for Mascot?

 

Finally someone mentioned him I was curious when Zott will appear here

All right, so far I have heard suggestions of these mascots:

 

Noghri

Hutt

Zoot (the cat)

 

I think maybe we'll run this thread for a day or two more before we start a poll (for the future SWR mascot) . Get all your friends to come here and post feedback .

I say The Cat Jahled Tries To Master (I'd prefer not to say the name since bad things happen when one does) should be our mascot! It would be expression of both our Star Wars fanaticism and the SWR community's insanity.

Here's an idea for a logo, based on the spining lightsaber. On one side have the symbol, on the other have an image of their forces, and have it change factions each time it rotates.

Hmm, folks, like eville said, try not to concentrate on the animated please . We want to be able to use the logo not just in the place of the current one, but in some other places including the address bar, at the end of articles, etc .

Edit: oh and also I didn't mash up his Yoda image in the first place, some one else did, and it was so long ago, i'd have no idea how to credit him/her.

I know its not very good, I did it in a hurry, but something along these lines will be the Rapora Wars Logo, perhaps it can cross over to become the sites mascot.

 

As for the Logo, the lightsaber and crests seems to look pretty good for a basic in sight signature, but I'd like to have a different animated image for the site head.

It's a Rapora Warrior (Darth Tuvax from the RPG actually), and I drew it myself, for something from me it stinks so I'm working on a new one.

1. Tuvax has Sith painting on his face

2. Tuvax has one of his feet who is articial

While I can't fault your artwork, SM, (which is superb, btw) I do have to take issue: Aside from it being an alternate universe thing hosted here, I don't think your Rapora Wars are an accurate depiction of everything here at SWR.com. Personally, I wouldn't associate that with Rebellion if I saw it on another site. I really think we need a logo/mascot that is easily identifiable with Rebellion.

I understand your concerns, I originally posted it as the logo for the Rapora Wars portion of the SWR Community if you recall, what we really need is a mascot that is all inclusive, but I simply haven't been able to think of one.

 

Considering that SWR is more about fleets and vessels then creatures or characters perhaps something more along those lines. I personally think that each major group in the community can have a logo, the Rapora Wars people, Modding Community, Reloaded Team, and a General Site logo. I'm just posting for the Rapora Wars Logo.
