Guest JediIgor Posted March 3, 2005 Posted March 3, 2005 We feel our old rotating lightsaber logo is getting old. For our new redesign we will either be using a logo or a mascot (or both). Please post here if you have any ideas what our logo should be, or what our mascot should be, or whether we should have these at all.

It must be fluffy, to be cute enough... I like this! Folks we can use our mascot similar to GameSpy using their spy guy! Yes, and we can have a fanfic contest to determine the mascot too! Mwahaha . For a logo.. uh.. lol.. how about something without a spinning lightsaber, if anyone could make an image of Imperial/Republic symbol fused together that might work (but I don't know, don't you folks think that wouldn't be as original as a Noghri?) By the way, if you suggest a logo make sure it hasn't been used by another site yet .
SOCL Posted March 3, 2005 Posted March 3, 2005 Animated GIF: How about half of a TIE Fighter pilot's helment and half of a Rebel pilot's helment, then it changes to become half a stormtrooper and half a Mon Calamari, then it changes to become half an Imperial officer and half Han Solo (or some other important person or thing), then it changes again and says "SWR.Com." Ehh? We could always use this. It could work! But really, the first paragraph/run-on sentence was serious, though it would be rather funny to put that particular GIF right before or right after the "SWR.Com"...as an expression of our community (and its utter maddness). He's La Forge, he's got skills, . I wouldn't want a mascot like an ewok though, lol . Maybe for April fools we can switch our mascot to Jar Jar! Mwahaha, having a mascot is awesome idea . By the way, why you guys like animated logos so much? They are no good if we want to rescale 'em :-\.

These mergings were used frequently in the past (like in JK series)
