For starters, the game might not be very popular, and you really can't tell from the demo as to whether or not the style of gameplay will lend itself to a Halo mod. That, and it may be nearly un-modable, or at least too difficult to mod as to make your efforts not worth-while. I think that Halo in a more squad-style of gameplay would be cool. I can't understand it myself since it's very similar to Unreal Tournament with a story driven, Wolfenstien style single player. The graphics aren't really anything to bragg about either... History is on the move, Captain. Those who cannot keep up with it will be left behind, to watch from a distance. And those who stand in our way will not watch at all. It's just that Halo was only big with the consol gaming community. The PC version was plagued with problems, and even if it weren't, it's not really up to the caliber of many PC games. I you find one with better, then show me a link with screen shots. As for the mod, Instead of having Master Chief and the Arbiter, like in halo 2. You should have a Grunt, and an ODST (Orbital Drop Shock Trooper) I like grunts and there Meat Cleaver Arms. Classic Weapons like Plasma Pistol, Magnum, Plasma Rifle, Rocket Launcher, and Energy Swords And New weapons like Brute Plasma Pistol, so then you would have: Brute Shot, Plasma Rifle, and Pistol. I'm all for Supporting you B&R http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s152/Dave-Mastor/Cluster6.jpg Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I you find one with better, then show me a link with screen shots. Ok, here is a screenshot of Halo 2... well, it's what Microsoft calls a screenshot, but since there's no HUD or a weapon showing, we sort of have to assume it has been touched-up to some degree. The same could be said with this screenshot from Half-Life 2, but since you don't get a weapon, nor do you have any HUD for the first 15 minues of the game... well, you decide. Of course, halo 2 is for a console and Half-Life 2 is for computer. Now, if you mean that Halo 2 is unchallenged by other console games, I'm inclined to agree. Very good graphics compared to any other I've played, and a great improvement upon the original. I'm also not bashing B&R's plan, I think it's a good idea even if I didn't like Halo. I just suggested that he wait until Repulbic Commando is released before he makes any concrete plans. History is on the move, Captain.
