spaceguy19 Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 okay here's a question for the Admirals around here.... Recently I was playing this guy, I was rebels and he was the empire. My fleed far outmatches his in every way but he's got a large group of fighters defending Corescant. In the past when my fleet has gone agianst just fighters he just takes his fighters off to the edge of the grid and waits, repeatedly running everytime my fleet gets near. How do you fight this tactic?? I end up losing most of my fighters because they are outnumbered, but if I keep them with my ships the guy almost impossible to catch....suggestions anyone??

spaceguy19 Posted January 23, 2005 Author Posted January 23, 2005 yea thats about what I did...though my first fleet wasn't big enough to do it quite as effectively. But than I combined them and sent them to Corescant, he took one look at that fleet and evacuated the system....

Mind you, I'd like it if you had more control over bloackading planets - so you could stop supplies coming through to the military units on planet and eventually force the eneimes hand to strike out of desperation (thus leading to their destruction) or force them to surrender.
