Alter the entries as follows: Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true" Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true" Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30. This means it will make 30 requests at once. 3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0". This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives.u also need to creat an entery callednetwork.http.pipelining.firstrequest set that to "true" also. This really made my browsing faster

This is good though, i've at last become pissed off with Outlook and IE and my machine being hijacked by low lifes who think they're clever. Firefox was recomended to me, so I think i'll give it a go! http://www.jahled.co.uk/smallmonkeywars.gif
Mad78 Posted January 1, 2005 Posted January 1, 2005 You may be interessted to know that the creators of firefoy also created something to replace outlook. Its called Thunderbird. And all those who use Firefox may like to go here where they can download lots of plugins for it http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance

Jahled Posted January 1, 2005 Posted January 1, 2005 Maxthon > Firefox What's Maxthon dude? While i'm quoting you btw, given you confess to being a hacker of sorts for non-economic/not cause average joe grief purposes ( ) What would you recomend? http://www.jahled.co.uk/smallmonkeywars.gif
BadSamaritan Posted January 2, 2005 Posted January 2, 2005 While firefox is a good browser, is works better for downloading large files and/or a lot of files becuase of its built in download manager, Maxthon is a faster browser to use for surfing the intraweb. EDIT: Also, Firefoxs' proxie service is nice, but you can find better programs for free that work better in the long run. If you have use for proxies, that is. http://www.myie2.com/html_en/home.htm I once knew a great man. Nothing got to him, and he always smiled. No thanks, I'll pass . p.s. proprietary software is bad unless you're making it yourself
