Guest Scathane Posted December 29, 2004 Posted December 29, 2004 Well, apart from Revenge of the Sith, of course, we can expect quite a few nice movies in the coming months: Batman BeginsSon of the MaskHitch Hiker's Guide to the GalaxySin CityCharlie and the Chocolate FactoryConstantineBlade Trinity It's going to be fun!
Krytos Posted December 29, 2004 Posted December 29, 2004 Cool, those movies look great! ! Blade Trinity is already out here and I'm planning on seeing next week - should be good. Willy Wonker looks weird, Batman looks awesome, Son of Mask . . . intersting, Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy should be good (now I just have to read the book before the movie come out), Sin City looks cool and Constatine also looks awesome http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://img152.imageshack.us/img152/1333/3dartistbanneranimationws1.gifhttp://img154.imageshack.us/img154/4026/rebellionbannerdi2.gif
darth_ramoth Posted December 29, 2004 Posted December 29, 2004 Well im going to see revenge of sith, hopefully the first showing in the local cinamar (missed the clone wars ) they have a habit of showing them a minute after midnight so hopefully i will get to see it. Dont know much about the others except for blade trinity and if the hitchikers guide to the galaxy is anything like the series which i watched regeliosly it should be good as well. Darth_Ramoth Strike me down with all of your hatred, and your journey to the dark side will be complete
Thumper Posted December 29, 2004 Posted December 29, 2004 It got bumped back from April to September 30 (in the USA), but the Firefly movie Serenity is due out this year! *happy* Hitchhiker's Guide should be interesting. I'll have to go see that one, too. -Thumper TIE pilots shake at the sound of my name! ...Hey, wait! You're not supposed to be shaking with laughter! Which way did they go? How many of them were there? How fast were they going? I must find them! I am their LEADER!
Guest Scathane Posted December 29, 2004 Posted December 29, 2004 I'm really looking forward to Constantine, since John Constantine is a character featured in The Books of Magic by Neil Gaiman. A really great story! What's Serenity about, Thumper?
Thumper Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 Serenity is based on the (now cancelled but available on DVD ) sci-fi TV show Firefly. If the first theatrical movie does well, there are potentially a couple more follow-ons. Between this and Ep III (which I'm hoping I'll like better than Ep II), I figure I'll be living at the theater this year. -Thumper TIE pilots shake at the sound of my name! ...Hey, wait! You're not supposed to be shaking with laughter! Which way did they go? How many of them were there? How fast were they going? I must find them! I am their LEADER!
BadSamaritan Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 My local theatres charges 7 bucks to see a movie, so I dont know how many movies I will be seeing this year. I once knew a great man. Nothing got to him, and he always smiled. May he forever rest in peace, knowing fully well that his freinds shall remember him.
Mad78 Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 mine charges 10 I doubt Charlie and the chocolate factory will be as good as the original (ahhh nostalgia)I am impatient to see HHGTG and can't wait for Ep III. I may actually try and get to the first screening Blade Trinity I must see even if i found the second a bit lame compoared to the first. On another hand the reason i will not live in the theater is that Resident evil 4 is coming out in 2005 http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
Trejiuvanat Posted December 30, 2004 Posted December 30, 2004 mine charges 10 Mine charges about 2.50... Haven't heard about most of the movies on that list, plus i'm not much of a movie-goer. Ep III is definitely on the top of my list, but after that I don't know. http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
dinochick Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 Wow, you have really got to watch the trailer of Willy Wonka to appreciate what I am about to say. It looks totaly creepy, like a weird acid trip (not that I would know ). In the past I have not always liked Tim Burtons films, and Johnny Deep looks truly deranged and weird in this film. I am not sure what to think of it! I loved the original, so hopefully this one will be good and the oopaloopas will have better voices than the voices that sing in the trailer. Trust me, you need to watch the trailer! I am also looking forward to The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. I have never gotten around to reading the books (it something I would like to read to my kids someday) but I did watch the animated versions when I was a kid and loved all of the animal characters. I hope that they can pull it off enough to make it work! I think that is has the possibility of either being really good or really bad. Hopefully it will be good! http://www.dinochick.com/dc_saber_banner_02.gif
Mad78 Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 Well the film is being made by TIm Burton which it has this nice little side of madness to it The Chronicles of Narnia books are marvellous. I remember reading them years ago. They have already made a non animated version but i never bothered hiring the film. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
AdmiralFishface Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 Interesting stuff. Sin City, Batman Begins and the Hitchhiker's Guide are already on my Have-To-Watch-list. Constantine looks very good and I might watch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory just for the Burton-ness of it (as I'm a fan of most of Tim Burton's movies). http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v436/RiesstiuIV/Krempel/trapaure.gif
Mad78 Posted January 1, 2005 Posted January 1, 2005 I have noticed is that Johnny Depp has acted in most of Burton's film.I must say the mask will surely not appear on my to-watch list. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
