DarthTofu
The goriest picture of the year ever. Do not click if you are squeamish or if you have small children around you... JanDeis
Wasn't very gory. But eh, yeah, still heed the warning I guess... Anyway, @Def, the Nebulon-B did carry fighters? Hmm. How long have I been away from these things... *leaves to ponder about what he has been doing for the past few months* http://www.freewebs.com/deisgames/index.htm

Defender_16
Trying this out. Is anyone else having trouble with Photobucket lately?  http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h293/Defender_16/CloneWarsfighter.gif [x](EDIT: One of these things is not like the other. ) This is one of the new vehicles I've been working on as part of an Alternate Prequel trilogy. (Alternate in that it hopefully won't suck like the ones GL made.) This fighter is intended to be used by the Armies belonging to the Clone Masters. It's engines are of a design stolen from Koensayr, a later model of which will eventually be used in the Y-wing. These fighters are stripped of as much extra weight as possible to give them a top speed of 83 MGLT. Blaster Cannons are the standard weapons though the wing pair can be removed to carry Heavy Rockets for attacking captial ships. EDIT: Work Please  http://s67.photobucket.com/albums/h293/Defender_16/th_CloneWarsfighter.gif
Mad78
It looks a bit like an A-Wing. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
Defender_16
Yeah, I admit it did end up coming out looking an A-wing though the performance diffriences are staggering.  Anyways, does anyone else have ideas for Clone Wars starfighters with less ability than those of the Origional Trilogy? Preferrably with the same sort of blocky 70's-80's car look to them like the Starfighters of Episodes 4, 5 & 6.  All I've got so far of existing stuff is the Z-95, Cloakshape, & T.I.E. Starfighter.  EDIT:  V-19C Torrent based off of the one from the Clone Wars Cartoon series. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/V-19  http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h293/Defender_16/V-19CTorrent.gif The intended back-story for this fighter is a little diffrient. An older fighter using similar systems to the Z-95 but intended for heavier work. Can be equipped with shields and is normally armed with 2 Laser Cannons and 4 Blasters. Can also carry either a single Ion Cannon or Torpedo Launcher. Somewhat common in the Republic fleet at the outbreak of the Clone Wars but hardly anywhere else. Most are lost durring the war or scrapped. Sublight speed of 75 MGLT.  EDIT: Friday January 4th 11:15 pm (EST)  http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h293/Defender_16/CloneWarsfighter2.gif My second version of the previous fighter that Mad (and even myself) thought looked a bit like the A-wing. As a bonus this re-design bulked it up to the level I originally wanted.  ...And while I'm at it I didnt especially like the fold-down third engine on the C-19. I'm designating this redesign the V-19 D. (Though the file name is C2.)http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h293/Defender_16/V-19C2Torrent.gif
Defender_16
I've done enough edits the past couple of days. It's time to Do- Do- Do- DOUBLEPOST!!   The Raker class Starfighter. Used as the mainline fighter by the Royal House of Alderaan through much of the Clone Wars. Tough armor protected the ship when it's shields proved inadaquate and it's two powerful engine banks could give it speeds of up to 85 MGLT. Two nose mounted laser cannons and wing mounted Blasters served as the primary weapons, though the Raker could also be equipped with concussion missiles or torpedoes. Most models could also carry a hyperdrive, though this was often removed to save weight durring combat if they were traveling with a fleet.  http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h293/Defender_16/RakerclassFighter.gif Years after Alderaan disarmed the general shape and layout of the Raker inspired Starypan/SunHui Spaceworks in the design of their Razor class starfighter. Â http://img408.imageshack.us/img408/6844/londonzoolt4.jpgWoman counting butterflys in London Zoo.(source: badische-zeitung.de)Â Yep! The annual 'stock take' we do once a year for the camera's. You couldn't move for news crews and photographers in the zoo on Thursday. It's a great freebie for publicity, but all a decption if you think about it. Â All zoo's know how many animals they've got on a day by day basis if you think about it!! But the public love it, as do the editors of newspapers, given it's an easy half page with something fluffy. Â Speaking of fluffy, this little fella appeared at 10:00 am yesterday, taking us all by surprise. Eagle
The older ones look much fluffier if you ask me.  Apropos fluffieness: Another german zoo has a baby polarbear  Impossible to believe that this baby will come nearly as big as his parents in about half a year later. Krytos
Woo! More fluffiness from J!  Finally pulled the thumb out and started working on my portfolio again for work. Another game model, a simple scene asset - a chair! Weighs in at a rather small 246 tris (which can be dropped for LOD models), and I've rendered it out in stages for the hell of it - sort of an evolution of texture progression from no texture, to simple colour map, to specular maps and finally normal maps. Wireframe:http://img519.imageshack.us/img519/8065/chairwireqh6.th.jpg Bare model:http://img299.imageshack.us/img299/5500/chairnothingpv6.th.jpg With colour map:http://img101.imageshack.us/img101/9697/chaircoloureu6.th.jpg Colour+specular:http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/7564/chairspecdp8.th.jpg Colour+specular+normal map:http://img519.imageshack.us/img519/6058/chairfullrs7.th.jpg http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://img152.imageshack.us/img152/1333/3dartistbanneranimationws1.gifhttp://img154.imageshack.us/img154/4026/rebellionbannerdi2.gif
