DarthTofu
"One ring to find them, and in the dark to bind them..."Â Of course! It was a wedding ring! The one ring to rule them all- the wedding ring, indicating that a woman now dominates all aspects of your life! That art just made it apparent to me! 12/14/07Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
Krytos
Ohhh! How cute! I would have used splines for the ring. I've gotten to the point where I prefer to use poly modelling with NURMS meshsmoothing. When it comes to higher detail and higher poly models - it's more effective, but requires a lot of planning and fiddiling to get it to work. http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://img152.imageshack.us/img152/1333/3dartistbanneranimationws1.gifhttp://img154.imageshack.us/img154/4026/rebellionbannerdi2.gif

Krytos
A little effect from photoshop on one of those photos I posted. The history brush, after desaturating the image to grey scale. The art hisrtory brush is used to restore the image to an older form as selected in the history tab - so in this case, after making the image grey scale you can paint back the colour. So simple! And great for adding contrast and focus to an image.http://img150.imageshack.us/img150/2074/historybrush02ws6.th.jpg  And a model:A Light Assault Vehicle (LAV) based transport for the New Republic (or if they don't want it, some other guy!). Capable of transporting ... maybe 8 people into battle (having looked into that yet ) on a repulsor chasis at 400 kph this can then back the soldiers up with a decent medium blaster cannon intended on saturating light to medium targets (think the 30mm cannon on a M2 Bradely ... or maybe the new Rheinmetall MLG 27) and engage heavier units with 4 retractible missile launchers. Umm, other made up stuff ... yeah.http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/5954/lav01es4.th.jpghttp://img99.imageshack.us/img99/9880/lav02tg5.th.jpg http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://img152.imageshack.us/img152/1333/3dartistbanneranimationws1.gifhttp://img154.imageshack.us/img154/4026/rebellionbannerdi2.gif

Eagle
Great work, Krytos! Looks pretty cool ... and dangerous.  Krytos (which means Crete in German btw)Huh?? http://www.cosgan.de/images/smilie/konfus/a035.gif (Tofu-Smiley) I guess you mean Gräte, which means fishbone. But I rather guess that Krytos is a fantasy-name. Because I`ve never heard that word before. Who cares at all?!

Mad78
Actually that is the Virago. Prince Xizor's personnal transport. He aquired all the productionh rights from MandalMotors and it was only after his death that more StarViper ships were produced. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
Eagle
I have no idea about that. All that I know these fighters were seen in the "Shadows of the Empire"-Game and Prince Xicor was still alive there. Was a bit hard to play, but it had lots of nice cutscenes in it. And there was even a nice scene with the Black Sun Fighters. Who cares at all?! Defender_16
Kick ass LAV there Krytos. I could definitely see that in action.  Decided to finally stop in and post another Starfighter design; the "Gunfigher" (Applications for new names here.)It's a single engine Light Interceptor. I created the base design a few years ago but didn't care for how it came out so I did a little re-tuning of the design last week.  http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h293/Defender_16/TF-105Gun-FighterC.gif Some of you may be thinking 'Omg, that's not a light fighter, it's not light at all.' It is light compared the the heavy interceptors.  http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h293/Defender_16/TerranlightvsHeavyfightercomparison.gifThis thing does not have the power systems necessary to be fitted with a Jump Drive or the room to do so. It does however support a handfull of small shield projectors which can be relocated to better protect the fighter depending on the mission type. Eagle
Looks a bit like a mixture of a Tomcat, a F16 and an Eurofighter. But nice. Use more angles to make it look more star wars-like. Who cares at all?!
Mad78
That heavy interceptor is impressive. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance

Defender_16
Lol, trying to invade everything with Panda's lately J? Still it looks cool. Â I'm not going to put more angles on it Eagle, it's supposed to cut through an Atmosphere so it needs rounded-ness for flow.
