Guest Scathane Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 How many of you own a 'new' mobile phone? One that can photograph, film, MMS and has access to the internet through GPRS or UMTS?
Mad78 Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 I have the Nokia 6600. Very good even if i find the battery a bit light. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
Guest Scathane Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 Nice phone. My sister has it as well. It's a SonyEricsson K700i myself. What do you use it for? My main reason for buying the K700i was the video feature as well as design. I mostly use it for video, SMS and, of course, for telephone calls.
AdmiralFishface Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 My phone is almost as old as my PC (which is from 2000!). Or... is it even older?... I can't remember. It's a Motorola cd930; I can talk to people with it, and write short messages. And it fell to the ground a few times and doesn't have a scratch visible. I use my technology until it dies or someone buys me a new piece. (Me got no €) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v436/RiesstiuIV/Krempel/trapaure.gif

BadSamaritan Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 My cell is a nokia..... something or other. No camera. No color screen. 5000 minutes a month to use, of i which i use about 200 or so. I waste a lot of money on my phone. I once knew a great man. Nothing got to him, and he always smiled. May he forever rest in peace, knowing fully well that his freinds shall remember him.
Trejiuvanat Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 How many of you own a 'new' mobile phone? One that can photograph, film, MMS and has access to the internet through GPRS or UMTS? New? Here in Costa Rica, what you call new will arrive in a thousand years or so. Or until all crisis from the autonomous institutions that control the monopoly of telecoms are dealt with. I own a Sony Ericsson T100, rather old and used and am wanting to change it. I'd got either for a Nokia or a Siemens. Of course with all the new little features... Of course there are some rather "weird" features and accesories. Like a R/C car for a Sony Ericsson k700 (Don't have the link at the moment, but its in their product page). http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
Guest Scathane Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 5000 minutes a month to use... 5,000!!! Isn't that a bit much?! I waste a lot of money on my phone. Obviously.... BTW, BadSamaritan, where are you located? Like a R/C car for a Sony Ericsson k700... Yes, I've seen it... If you're considering a new phone, the Nokia 6260 might be something for you. It's a very nice phone!
Trejiuvanat Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 Hm... Nice features, but I don't like the style. That's my problem with the Nokia phones they don't look like phones at all. http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
the_mask Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 Well, I currently own this one. My next one will definately be this model. A former colleague of mine got it and plugged in a GB smc card Now I just need to know, if it can use an mp3 for the ringtone, that would be perfect, cause I could then edit my own ones http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/5183/animated9pn.gifhttp://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://www.swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif
Mad78 Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 I wanted a phone with camera and somne of the latest options. I managed to find the 6600 at Sunrise for a reasonable price. I received it as a christmas present. Its very good but as i said the size of its screen gives a harsh time to the battery.I used to own a 3330 which served me well and now serves my dad just as well. I believe that model must have been the best mobile ever made simply because it did the job and had all you needed.I always used Nokia because they have the advantagfe of being very user friendly. Though i must say it is strange how a mobile phone must now be able to telephone, surf on the internet, send sms, send mms, take pictures, film, and tell you the weather to not be out dated. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance

Surely you could ask your friend?
Mad78 Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 I shall have to investigate that to see if i can do that on my own. That would be so cool. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
