Some of these I'm almost certain will be answered with "not possible" or "don't know", but I can still be surprised, I think. 1) Can you kill the Dagobah event or the Force messages whenever the Luke slot character messes up a mission?1a) Can you get rid of the Luke vs Vader, Final Battle, etc. events?1b) Can you get rid of the Bounty hunter event (prob. a no)? 2) Is it possible to change the objectives of either side (like, have both sides have an HQ planet as victory condition for the others to take)? 3) Can weapons graphics be changed? If nothing else, can the colors of the shots be changed? 4) Umm, how can I replace wavs inside the dlls? I couldn't detect an option for this in ResHack, but then again, before I could investigate further, it crashed (again).4a) What sizes and (possibly) formats does Rebellion support? do sound files have to have a certain length (like, exactly the length of the originals), sample frequency, etc? 5) Does someone have an exact list of what bmp is found where in the dlls, esp. gokres? I'm quite annoyed with ResHack crashing while I explore. 6) Again, what's the calculation for damage control? And shield recharge, for that matter. I could try and test some of these, but I'm lazy. the_mask Posted November 12, 2004 Posted November 12, 2004 Ok, let's see: 1) ,1a),1b) not to my knowledge or without the sourcecode 2) Via the HQ victory button in the cockpit ? 3) haven't found them so far 4) it should work as with any other resource4a) the length, frequency and so on shouldn't be a problem, IMHO. 5) the most complete one I know of is in the downloads section. I suppose the shots aren't created via the use of graphics files, but are really just lines of colored pixels generated on the fly. Oh well. 5) Already using that one. Maybe I'll be the first one to completely map the dlls... 6) Oh-Kayy... Sorry. 5) We started doing this once for Reloaded, but got discouraged pretty soon. However there is the complete list of encytext.dll and about half of strategy.dll available.
