Rebellion is an older game and may run differently on newer systems - so who knows how long Microsoft OS will be compatible with such older games. Note: there is an edit button. Krytos Posted October 18, 2004 Share Posted October 18, 2004 I have had the game crash after a fleet battle where I take control - as soon as the screen comes up to say "You are victorious" or equivalent, the game crashes and I get the all to familur: This program has performed an illegall Operation. Now, generally I would blame this soley on Windows XP, and some incompatability. Though it doesn't always happen, and it has happened a few times on my friends computer who is currently running Windows 98 SE. The only problem I have ever had was with sound on some very old games. I once knew a great man. Nothing got to him, and he always smiled.
