Grand_Admiral_Thrawn
Ok, I know that we've got a lot of polls going on, and a lot of topics alive, but I want to know what size your monitor is. In your post you can also tell us what brand, and whether it is CRT or LCD (or plasma if you've got lots of money). I personally use a 21" (is it ' or " for inches? Sorry, was raised on the metric system ) Dell Trinitron CRT true flat. It's a nice monitor, but I'm sort of worried it will break my flimsy desk . History is on the move, Captain. Those who cannot keep up with it will be left behind, to watch from a distance. And those who stand in our way will not watch at all.
Mad78
I think mine is 17" but I am not sure. Its a CRT. They are better for gaming than LCDs.The mark of my screen is Videoseven S96D and i am happy with it. never had any problems. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
Grand_Admiral_Thrawn
There is an odd conversion for monitor/TV sizes between Europe and North America. a TV that passes for 32" in Europe is only considered a 27" here. Just thought of this. In some cases CRTs are better for gaming, but if you geta high-quality LCD, your image will be much clearer. If I had the money I'd switch to an LCD monitor, but they're just too pricy. History is on the move, Captain. Those who cannot keep up with it will be left behind, to watch from a distance. And those who stand in our way will not watch at all.

AdmiralFishface
17'' CRD and I'm quite satisfied. A 19'' would be nice, but I got more important components to waste my money on (and no money to waste). http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v436/RiesstiuIV/Krempel/trapaure.gif

darth_ramoth
I have a 17" Packard Bell Slimview 700 TFT (LCD?) monitor. Used to have a 17" IBM CRT monitor but now i have so much more on my over cluttered computer desk i think i will stay with the TFT monitors. Darth_Ramoth Darth_Ramoth Strike me down with all of your hatred, and your journey to the dark side will be complete
Krytos
I've got a 17" Samsung SyncMaster 753DFX, it's a CRT. It's a good monitor, though if I could afford it I would get a high quality LCDÂ Though my best monitor was an Acer 14" which I had for 13 years - and in all that time it only had one dead pixel and could handle 1024 x 768 at 65 Hz! Guess they don't make things like they use to http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://img152.imageshack.us/img152/1333/3dartistbanneranimationws1.gifhttp://img154.imageshack.us/img154/4026/rebellionbannerdi2.gif

Guest Scathane
Dell 1025HE 17" Trinitron monitor. It's a CRT. It's old but still okay. I'd switch to (or rather add) a 19", 21" or an LCD but the price thingy is a bummer...
Grand_Admiral_Thrawn
You can get a referbished 21'" Dell Trinitron for $150. Sure it's used, but if a monitor lasts for a year, it'll usually last forever. History is on the move, Captain. Those who cannot keep up with it will be left behind, to watch from a distance.
