BadSamaritan
Stats on the Mandalorian Cruiser: Strikeblade-class Cruiser Length - 1.2 KilometersCrew - 7000, with room for up to 2000 troopsFighter capacity - 6 squadrons, usually Gladiator-classWeapons - 100 Heavy turbolasers, 50 heavy Ion cannons, 75 Quad laser cannonsSheilds - Equivelent to those of an Imperial II Star Destroyer The mandalorian cruiser is the pinnacle of their technological acheivements. They have a very advanced sensor system, capable of picking up a floating blaster from across an entire star-system. They also have an exceptionally advanced sensor-jamming system, which send out false information whenever it is scanned, making the ship appear as though it is just an empty spot in space, filled withthe appropriate particles. So even in the dencest of nebulas, the ship would not register on almost every sensor in the galaxy. Only gravatic sensors are known to pick up the ships, and mandalorian scientists are working on a new jamming system to defeat even these rare sensor systems. The ship also comes equiped with a complicated camoflauge system on the hull, which copies the colors of the surrounding space almost perfectly, so that only a highly trained eye can pick it out while the ship is not moving. All of these things came from the Mandalorians wanting to hide from the galaxy, but the need for a viable way of keeping tabs on the rest of the galaxy safely. But they also found that they make for excellent combat systmes also, making it so that only visual targetting is effective against them. The exact number of these vessles is known to only a few, and theire exact location is known to even fewer. It is known to all mandalorians that each city has its own group of vessels for defence, but none of the normal citizenry are sure how many. Crews for the vessels are chosen out of the populace, and are then trained in special schools. They are then shipped off to their new home, where they will spend the majority of their lifetime. Stellar_Magic
Um, I'd hate to say this, but Imperial I could take on that vessel. So, I'm going to do some upgrades for you. Strikeblade-class Cruiser Length - 1.2 KmCrew - 7,000Troop Complement: 2 combat regiments or 2,000 soldiersFighter capacity- 6 SquadronsWeapons: 32 Superheavy Turbolaser banks100 Heavy Turbolasers140 Turbolasers50 Heavy Ion Cannons110 Ion Cannons72 Quad laser emplacements24 Concussion Missile Launchers18 Proton Tropedo LaunchersShields: Doublehulled shield system with each individual array (Dorsal Primary, Dorsal Secondary, etc...) being equal to half the total shield output of a Imperial II.Speed: 58 MGLTs The Vessel also features an active camoflauge screen capable of defeating most sensors except gravitic and ion accelerated pulse A.K.A. red laser/particle sensors. The only known deterent to both forms of sensors stated here is a phased cloak. Does that seem much more powerful For comparison here are the stats for an Imperial II Star Destroyer 120 Heavy Turbolasers (In Essential Guide to Vehicles it says 60 hvy batteries + 60 hvy turbolasers, so this number may be conservative)60 Ion Cannons Forum and RPG Membership:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v436/StellarMagic01/RaporaWarsTC.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v436/StellarMagic01/RaporaWarsRPG2.jpg Signature:Sufficiently advanced technology would be indistinguishable from Magic. -Arthur C.
