ADarkJedi44
Eh, I think this battle will end up being a "draw". Once we get it over with, we can start doings things in an orderly fashion again, heh.... Sweat saves blood-Erwin Rommel
BadSamaritan
Well, either way, both sides are goin gto take heavy casualties. Which will be the first time the repora will have basically not won in a toe-to-toe match with the GFFA. That, and the loss of that super-cruiser will hurt them in the battle quite heavily, especially if the Genesis is still in thie fight when it is taken out. Mad78
The GHenesis will destroy the rapora ship after intensive fire on its front shields. It shall be covered by the Interception corvettes and its fighters. Sounds Okay? http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance

Trejiuvanat
The disappearance of a small team of Jedi Knights -- including Jaina and Jacen Solo -- in the Unknown Regions has sparked controversy. The reclusive Chiss has lodged a formal complaint, angrily accusing the missing Jedi of meddling in a border dispute between the Chiss and an unidentified aggressor. Jedi Master Luke Skywalker ventures into the Unknown Regions to contain the damage, while Han and Leia follow, concerned for their children. What they find is a colony of mysterious aliens edging towards Chiss space, led by a Force adept who is recruiting old and powerful friends to his cause. He is compelling them to join the colony and meld their Force-abilities with his, even if it leads to all-out war. Thus begins the Dark Nest trilogy by Troy Denning. The first book, The Joiner King, is due out on August 2005 from Del Rey Books. The subsequent books, Dark Nest II: The Unseen Queen and Dark Nest III: The Swarm War, will be published in October and December, 2005, respectively.  Did anyone say Rapora? http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
BadSamaritan
Could Stellar be working for George Lucas?  Could we be test subjects fopr the new sereis? And if so, will we get credit? Stellar_Magic
Goddamnit George! No I'm not working with George Lucas. I will say that the Rapora do sound remarkably similar to the enemy in this new series, but I doubt they've got a history as long and as detailed as the Rapora. Actually this is something of a test bed for a series of books. Thus far I think that the Rapora would really stand quite well in the legion of star wars enemies. Stellar_Magic
I've been reading some stuff on that trilogy and I've come to the following conclusions. Number one, there's a rumor that the Dark Jedi that leads the enemy will be the same evil character as in Star by Star. There is also a rumor that Killiks an extinct race from Alderann will be part of it. These are unconfirmed, and would really screw up Rapora Wars if they were. Number two, there will be nine books following The Unifying Force, again these are unconfirmed. If proven true, I'll have to move back the time line for the Rapora War. Still, none of these have the web of connections that Rapora Wars does to all the elements of the Star Wars Universe, a complete explaination of the prophecy, connections to the Infinite Empire, connections to the "Nameless Threat" in the unknown regions, Thrawn's return, a complex working of how the force actually exists and works. Need I go on?  Of course they'll never listen to me until I've publish other works, so darn. If proven true, I'll have to move back the time line for the Rapora War. The Nine books are confirmed, written by Denning (aside from this DN trilogy) Allston and one Karen Traviss or something. IIRC they are set about five years after Dark Nest. That'd be about 10 after TUF? Still, none of these have the web of connections that Rapora Wars does to all the elements of the Star Wars Universe, a complete explaination of the prophecy, connections to the Infinite Empire, connections to the "Nameless Threat" in the unknown regions, Thrawn's return, a complex working of how the force actually exists and works. BTW, you've intrigued me, which of Han's Ex-flams was investigating in a book that deals with ZS? One of the FH Trilogy?...  Darky: http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
BadSamaritan
Bah, I dont hive my library with me, so My memory is failing me now. I really need to read all my books again. The book I was thinging of wasnt even in the NJO, it was before the Black fleeet crisis, if I am correct. Han found one of his ex-flame investigating some alien creature that could heal with a touch. In reality, it was from another dimension, and was just trying to gether enough energy to go home. At the same time, one of the Emperors old cronies was hijacking force-sensitive children, and traing a dark army of them. His base of operations was a mobile planet, given to him by the emperor himself. I once knew a great man. Nothing got to him, and he always smiled. May he forever rest in peace, knowing fully well that his freinds shall remember him.

Stellar_Magic
I've started working on a SW: Novel for Rapora Wars.  This may take awhile... The Battle of Fondor will probably end up being a tactical victory for the GFFA but a strategic victory for the Rapora. Meaning: The shipyards will be destroyed, but the Rapora will suffer heavily.
