Well, I can post about Ilos whenever I want. He has become a side story ATM. As for Seryk, you seem to have missed my last post about him.

Oh boy, Trej has just created a subplot, and from the look of it, it will be a big subplot. The Yaathkree (sp?) a race living in the Unknown regions apparently is about to be visited by negotiators from the Empire. Well, if the Empire is courting them you'd think the Rapora would be.

How about a spin off RPG for this subplot, we might be able to pick up some people from the other RPGs... Rapora Wars: The Yaathkree Afair

Another reason I suggest this, is that the number of plots currently going on is getting rather overwhelming. I'd like to try and pull together the battle for Ord Mantell as one plotline instead of three seperate lines of advance, so here's some general instructions for you mudsloggers.

Rapora commanders, link up with Darth Avarice and attempt to envelop the GFFA/UDA/Imperial troops.

Allied commanders should slowly pull back toward Han Solo's force and try and create a unified front against the attackers. The Mandalors should move south and link up with Solo at the GFFA base by the River Emante.

The Jedi should arrive within the next two or three days. :?

Now the convoy attack, with the Vagaari breaking free of the Rapora, the convoy itself has been eliminated, the GFFA should form an assault wall and act as a shield for the UDA. The UDA will then make strikes flying through the protection of the GFFA, kill a ship and return to the relative safety of the area behind the GFFA. The Aklasp cruisers will arrive in five minutes, once they engage you should flee.

So, tomorrow I'll start the spin off, if I'm not met by overwhelming complaints against it.

Ill be bringin Ilos back into the fold soon. Ill have him stop at Kuat again, to pick up his new flagship, and then head to Dresnak to await for Athien. Unless you want me to send him straight to the battle. But that might now work time wise.

As for the sub-story, works for me. Just gimme some details on these Yathkree people, and Ill help out with it. Considering either one of both of my guys are constantly in sub-plots or off on their own constantly, a sub-story will give me something to do.

Oh yah, and Fett will lead the Mandalorians south just as soon as 1) I post later today, and 2) The ship crashes, and the mandalorians get the backup power plants running enough to get it in the air again. But it wont be space worthy ever again.

And when will we get to see this combination GFFA/UDA/Mandalor vessel that you mentioned, Stellar? I want some info on this bad boy.

I guess that's what happens when Mask asks me to download some sourcebooks out of the net, and I find myself in possession of the Thrawn Trilogy Sourcebook. That's where I found about the Vaathkree.

Well, I'll transcribe the entry:

The Vaathkree are essentially a loosely grouped band of traders and merchants. They are fanatically interested in haggling and trading with other species, often invoking their "religion" they call "the deal" (Trej: Hence the comment made by Arien).

Vaathkree average between 1.5 to 1-9 meters tall, and are seemingly made out of stone or metal. (Trej: Finally some non-Jedi crearture that won't fear the Aklasp). Vaathkree have an unusual metabolism and can manufacture extremly hard compounds, which then form small scales or plates on the outside of the skin, providing durable body armor. In effect, they are encase in living metal or stone. These amiable aliens wear a minumum of clothing, normally limited to only belts or pouches to carry goods.

Vaathkree are long-liived compared to many other species, with their natural life span averaging 300 to 350 years. [...] As the Vaathkreehave been active members of the Republic for many millenia and most alien species are roughly humanoid in form, many Vaathkree select a humanoid adult form.

Since they've been part of the Republic for so long I wouldn't place them exactly in the Unknown Regions, Wild Space might do. On some planet the Rapora found, after they entered Known Space, perhaps?

Edit: About the subplot, no problem with that. Nice to see some offshoots of the Rapora War. By the way, in reading that sourcebook. It reminded me of a question I had a while ago. PM for you, Stellar.

I actaully have that sourcebook. The mention of 'the deal' brought back some good memories of an old RPG where I played a member of that species. I had just forgotten about them.

EDIT: and is just me, or does the RPG seem a little..... dead?

I'm still here heh. I'll try to post by Wednesday...or right now if I can manage it somehow.

Not sure what to do with our raid though. Should the Aklasp just come and scare us away?

Tuvax is in command of a Raporan Landing force, have him push north alongside Darth Avarice, they're objective will be the GFFA base under Han Solo's command.

Garik Ioor, well, maybe you should launch an attack in an attempt to cut the Raporan Supply line, a hit and run on Adumar perhaps?

You can have him leave at any time, he doesnt need to babysit Hirotek. I will pull Hirotek off Gorath when the time is right. In other words, when I feel like it.

Well, It could be almost anything. Some weird technology that he never perfected, or found a real use for. Maybe a new type of sheilding, a highly sensitive sensor array, possibly even a new type of cloak?

But preferably it would either A: Not work all teh time, or be a hit or miss kinda thing, or B: have some serious drawback, like major power consumption.

Well I think its obvious.

You have a bunch of starfighters requiring two pilots but only have one pilot.

You talk about Zsinj's Shadow... I know exactly what it is.

If you recall from Solo Command, Zsinj used a squadron of droid starfighters. How about your secret project be an Android factory...

Its a possibility. Kind of like the Graity trap that snagged Wraith squadron?
