Well, we got the chance to study the technololgy. Perhaps we can just began mass producing the plasma bombs and cannons, and not the starfighters?

By the way, about the reporan homeworld. Would it by chance be in the corellian system?

It would make sence. The corellian system was built well before the founding of the Old Republic, and Stellar has already stated the following:

 

1) The Timeless One can operate centerpoint and:

 

2) The Timeless One can take control all Reporan technology.

 

Now, it should be well known by now that the Infinite Empire has been around far longer than anyone can conceive. And they Repora have very advanced technology. Combine these facts with what Stellar has already stated, and it all works out.

What was the name of that one ship that Lando chased all over the galaxy? The Teljkon Vegabond? That one had weapons just like the ones your silicon based race is using.
