Im new to the mod and new to the forum, so hello all.

I just pulled HW2 out of the closet the other day and decided to play it through. Pretty good experience, overall. Now I am checking out the mods and this one looks good!

In response to two questions on the FAQ:

- Jedi could be implemented as an upgrade to some sort of basic boarding vessel, such as the marine friggate from HW2. Use a SW universe analog and when its upgrade to "carry some jedi" boarding actions run faster, as a result of jedi martial prowess. Also a small number of fighter craft could do with a similar upgrade that makes them similar to elite squadrons in HW2.

- It was my understanding that the large domes on the SD were in fact shield gens. It works just as well that the represent sensors of some sort. For those fans that cant get over this think of them not as the shield generators per say, but the power plants for the ships shields. They generate the shield energy that is distributed to the ships shield subsystem. So in the movies, when they are destroyed, consequently the shields go down. I dont think they were intended as devices that project a spherical shield around the ship such as in star trek. Shieds could be implemented as a subsystem by giving a ship, such as a SD, greater toughness and then when the subsytem is destroyed the ships toughness is dynamically changed to be lower.

All for now!

Fighting is terrible, but not as terrible as losing the will to fight.
