Grand_Admiral_Thrawn Posted August 20, 2004 Posted August 20, 2004 I'm going through the TEXTSTRA.dll with the resource hacker, seeing if I can change the names for the commands (I want it to be Captain, not commander). I came across the entry denoting "Incite Uprising", "Jedi Training", and "Death Star Sabotage". At the end are "Vacation" and "Sabbatical". Does any one know what these are for, if anything? (string 709) History is on the move, Captain. Those who cannot keep up with it will be left behind, to watch from a distance. And those who stand in our way will not watch at all.
Trejiuvanat Posted August 20, 2004 Posted August 20, 2004 They are as mysterious as some Leia waves... http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
Grand_Admiral_Thrawn Posted August 20, 2004 Author Posted August 20, 2004 There seems to be a lot of entries like those. On a good note, I've just finished customizing the command ranks for all of my characters. Should be interesting to see . History is on the move, Captain. Those who cannot keep up with it will be left behind, to watch from a distance. And those who stand in our way will not watch at all.
Trejiuvanat Posted August 20, 2004 Posted August 20, 2004 So you finally have a Grand Admiral Thrawn! http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
Grand_Admiral_Thrawn Posted August 20, 2004 Author Posted August 20, 2004 Yup. I also went around and changed things for Covell (made him a Major), Jerjerrod now shows Moff when I put him as a commander, Solo, Calrissian and Antilles all show General when they are admirals. I also took out the ranks for Vader and replaced them with Lord. History is on the move, Captain. Those who cannot keep up with it will be left behind, to watch from a distance. And those who stand in our way will not watch at all.
