research strategies..

Hiya people,

 

Just a quick question re research, is it advantageous to pair characters on research (i.e. have both Wedge and Acbar doing one ship design mission) or will they fare better off doing two separate missions? Or is there even a point in having more than 1 character doing 1 research mission?? Seems to take ages no matter how many chars are allocated..
