Jafs Posted August 11, 2004 Posted August 11, 2004 Hiya people, Recently retrieved Rebellion from the shelf after having not played it for ages. And it rocks to play it again! But my joy turned to grief very soon as the game (or rather the comp.. ) crashes too often.. I am playing it on Win XP and what seems to happen is that the game uses 100% of the CPU capacity (!) (at least according to the Task Manager) and the computer's power fail safe kicks in and cuts the power after a while (usually around day 100-150). Needless to say this is highly annoying! I've tried running it in Win95 compatibility mode to no avail..Same thing happens. If anyone has a workaround or has experienced anything similar any help would be most welcome. In advance, tks for any help! Jafs

Mad78 Posted August 11, 2004 Posted August 11, 2004 Strange... Do you have free space on your hard disk. try liberating some place. Have you tried runing a virus check. And you could also try runing a check with Ad-Aware.
