I am quite bored in the forums these days so I will start a small debate.

 

 

Let's say that Imperials drop short of our planet next week and we don't have Lucas "to know" about them ...how will history and the world be...

 

[i always dreamed to see one day a ISD on the sky putting down landing crafts from witch the stormy rush out or just an imperial shuttle]

[i quite curious how Palpy will deal with our planet problems .....hmmm....It’s kind of scary to think about that]

 

 

PS. [Out of subject] Did you guys know that cancer cell lives forever ?! It never gets old because his mechanism for that is damaged...actually the internal clock resets [ADN and stuff] before the last part.

They even created new skin or tissue in some clinic that has this clock mechanism damaged in the same way as a cancer cell only that this one has the rest of the ADN and info correct ....basically a good cell that lives forever. (....least the cells that they created didn't die yet]

This means that if they insert the (cell time reset mechanism) in a human first cell embryo ...well we have an immortal human.]

 

The source of the info is Discovery Channel.....I don't remember when I see it since I always forget to post about it. And I think they prefer to keep this info low and not have the same problems as with the cloning. They didn't even mention that they could use this cancer tehnology on a whole human...hmmm...If they manage such an endeavor the humans will become the cancer ....

 

Ohhh well.... just imagine immortal humans send in space ...wow.

Join them and betray them once you're out of this solar system.

Put up your stormtrooper costume and parade around your city.

Put on a shirt that sayd "I love Palpy" and rush to meet them.

Organize a battallion of little furry things attack them, beat them and take their Impstar.

Ask them where you can join the Rebellion?

Or stay at home, wait for them to invade and kill all the heads of government and then impose Imperial Rule, and hope that they open up a spaceport where you can find a job later.

I'd look for the nearest Naval Officer's Recruitment office. With teknology like that, who wouldn't?

 

As for how they'd deal with the problems on this planet, they'd all stop. The oppression of the Empire would unite every one. Pluss, any of the trouble makers wo try to keep going would be crushed without pause or mercy.

 

In the end we'd all be better off. United under a single government, all the problems created by nationalism would be gone, organized religion would be crushed, or suppressed, so that there would be no conflicts (we all know that that is the leading cause of conflict in the world). Sure we'd have to deal with reduced liberties and what not, but, depending on where you live, you already are.

What would be really funny would be if Earth managed to kick the Imps off the planet by themselves.

That would be interesting, but the Empire has way more resources, so they could just crush us any time. Plus, it would be ahrd to get all of the factions on Earth to unite to fight the Empire.

Thats's easy Cain, I would tell him I was Luke! He has never even seen Luke before. Then he would try to take me under his wing and I would agree, unlike Luke, therefore getting to learn the Force and in turn kill all of you on Earth as the left hand of the emperor.

I'd probably get a job with the Emprie to see the galaxy, and well to get a job

 

Then after realising how terrible and ruthless the Empire really is, I'd defect to the Rebel Alliance and become a fighter pilot and battle the Empire until their dimise at Endor. Then, once the New Republic is formed with the fall of Coruscant, I'd retire. That is until the Vong attack and I'm brought back into action and command a warship of some description, probably a Majestic class Cruiser. I'd fight until the eventualy end of the Vong invasion and once again hang up my uniform for what is hopefully the last time - though always ready to protect the galaxy from evil, that or if I get bored

 

I think the thrill of an intellegent species arriving at our planet and offering to incorporate us into this immense galaxy of unbelievable technolgy would be too hard to turn down for most. All of our limitation in power sources, medicine and pollution (to a lesser degree, ie Duro) could all be solved by allowing the planet to be ruled by the Empire - and I'm sure to us it would be made to look like a good goverment to be rulled by, and our goverments (for un unknown reason ) automatically agreed to side with the Emporer after he waved his hand.

And from Palpitine's point of view: He would control the birth place of humanity - I'd imagine that would be up their on his wish list, that and converting Luke to the Dark side and controlling the galaxy and . . .

I'd also try and find where Thrawn was posted. Maybe I could get some training by him in the ways of space tactics. After the fall of the Empire, I'd move out to Chiss space.
