Some Questions

I recently download several cards off of Rebellion (and to say, they greatly enhanced gameplay, giving me a new love for the game) and was wondering why most of them were released without Models? It seems such a shame, but then I'm probably one of the few who commands every battle he comes across...

Also I was wondering about a few of the cards specifically who did the images and if they had anymore images (perhaps larger?) of some of the craft they used? For example the Endurance Fleet Carrier...

Oh yeah, and I just joined the forums...it's heartening to see that other people still love and play Rebellion like I do.

Yeah the TC's look pretty nice but I've been reluctant to use one because I can't really find any details on what they do...like what ships they install and such.

What I'd REALLY like to see is a TC that upgrades everything to New Republic Era ships (5-20 years after ANH) or a Yuzzhan Vong TC that lets you plat as/against them.

 Nope that TC is called reloaded and it's not finished...the other two have enough cards and stuff to fill your day and can be easly moded to your preferences.

 If you like a Hoth era try the Protectorate.

(some new stuff inside also)

 Warlords is a little old but works for me.... for the after endor period.

Actually Reloaded is a Thrawn Era Total Conversion, a Vong-NR/GFFA TC was suggested by someone else a while ago, though he had many difficulties with getting shots and models of Yuuzhan Vong craft.

Hmmmm, well, I'm sad to say the warlords Mod failed to interest me. Though at least I figured it out.

Those TC's could really be released with some instructions for how to install....it took me an hour last night to do one and I had to search the forums for a thread to figure it out.

My understanding from flipping through it is that the New Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels includes some pictures of the Yuzzhan Vong era craft, but I can understand the difficulty it getting them in a proper format.

Out of idle curiosity has anyone managed to figure out how to edit a planet model? So you could add some disgusting Yuzzhan Vong growth out of the side of it or something?

Planets are not models but textures, try using Vadunkok's BMP Converter, to extract them from the files out of the 303 Folde within the TACTICAL.DLL, and then edit them to add whatever disgusting growth you like. There were some coloring limitations, mask will know and he will eventually appear 'round here. :D

About the Vong pictures, as I don't have the NEGTVV, I wouldn't know, but you would still need models for them. Not many, you could always give the GFFA more ships than to the Vong side, but you'd still need some analogs and stuff.

Well my understanding is that the models used in Rebellion aren't all that overly complicated...which means they wouldn't be that hard to make...I'll have to look into it though.

Eh...I got it installed, Cain, and it wasn't hard once I found instructions, but the download I got fromt he REBED page only had two files, the dellentries and the funky warlords one that ended in some obscure extension I can't even recall off the top of my head.

You might check to see which version is still available for DL at REBED and see if there's an info file in it.

 Well my TC has 10.06 mb and is called Protectorate : The Empire Strike Back and has around 7 files plus storyes and stuff and if you will play it try to play imperial on the 2.4/2.0 version or use the AEP with the necesary correction since the AEP is a beta .
