BadSamaritan Posted July 30, 2004 Author Posted July 30, 2004 No, nuke the jedi. Dotn make me bust out the Kobold Bomb. I once knew a great man. Nothing got to him, and he always smiled. May he forever rest in peace, knowing fully well that his freinds shall remember him.
Mad78 Posted July 31, 2004 Posted July 31, 2004 Isay a blaster and an Ysalamari and a blaster and you can kill a few jedis. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
Krytos Posted August 1, 2004 Posted August 1, 2004 You'd have to very skilled with a blaster still ! The Ysalamari would stop the Jedi using force powers against you, and it would also block you from the force, so they can't "see" you through it - though how many Jedi would be unskilled enough to let that trip them up, Jacen Solo prooved that Jedi are still very effective without the force (NJO: Traitor). And considering that they would still have their force powers, unlike Jacen, they could increase their speed, throw their light saber at you, move large objects into the path of the blaster, still deflect blaster bolts etc. The possibilities are endless . . . of course then there are people like Boba Fett and Thrawn . . . . http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://img152.imageshack.us/img152/1333/3dartistbanneranimationws1.gifhttp://img154.imageshack.us/img154/4026/rebellionbannerdi2.gif
Mad78 Posted August 1, 2004 Posted August 1, 2004 No they aren't. Just read the Zahn books. It says that most jedi get terribly disoriented when they get too close to one of those creatures. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
Shadow_of_Thrawn Posted August 1, 2004 Posted August 1, 2004 A little late...but someone asked why our modern weapons are not found in SW....but i recall them being mentioned at least once. In one of the Zahn books i remember a character on an out of the way planet using a "slug-thrower," which seems to be just a different way of saying "gun."
Mad78 Posted August 1, 2004 Posted August 1, 2004 A slug-thrower is actually a sort of gun. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
Cain Posted August 1, 2004 Posted August 1, 2004 I think waht happened with the Fiction writters, is :....the Admin never did the fiction Forum and you guys are to dogmatic in the SW stuff.....You never invision that a ST vs SW writter can do later good SW storyes and you never bothered to give some feedback or at least nice feedback. Jessss sometimes I feel like in the Vatican. Btw most of you didn't even bother to read all of Stellar_Magic story and see the excelent writting in some chapters....btw the guy is 19 years old. The same is with the PTESB : All the SWR admin never tried the PTESB TC and also some old SWR jedis ....so I'm quite upset about this and very inclined to do the SM MIA act also..... .....You all could be nice and read the story and give some support to the guy maybe he will come back BTW I don't want a reply on my post ...just act.
