quick question from a Warlords noob... I have read the FAQ

well... is just me, or does the AI in warlords do........... nothing?

 

i installed the mod with little or no trouble, and then, got to playing (in deathmatch mood) and the enemy simply didnt do anything! it built one attack craft, that was it...

 

I had it on easy, maybe that has something to do with it? I had a fleet going, and was expecting some action, and all i got was one stinky little attack craft, i blew the thing up in no time? WHERE THE HELL ARE THE ENEMY STAR DESTROYERS?!

On the easier settings (anything upto and including hard) the AI sends only small attacks for the first part of the game, and then ammasses a large fleet at thier base. If you play agians more than one AI they usually attack more often.

so basically play it on expert difficulty

Aye, anything else will yield the AI playing defensively. WHile that makes for a larger battle, it's not quite as fun.

Does it matter what timeline u play or are all the timelines the same with the AI difficulty?

i think it does vary (mainly on the ships) If you played ROTJ in one game the ai trys to concentrate on dreadnaughts but if you play on like Dark Empire the ai has better ships too play with so will try and build those, well untill i hyperspace in my Mon Calamari Cruisers
