Hallo Posted July 26, 2004 Share Posted July 26, 2004 I have just made a Star Destroyer model, but I can't texture the hull. The rest of the ship is alright but the hull will only show up black. Anyone have a solution for this? What about the texture file, is there something painted on the areas, that your model’s faces cover ? Hallo Posted July 27, 2004 Author Share Posted July 27, 2004 Ok, I found out that pressing reset on all the colour options in the LithUnwrap material editor fixed the problem. Next problem is conv3ds. The tutorial says to open up a dos prompt. I did this and it tells me this program cannot be run in dos mode. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Alternatively you can create a text file, with the following line: conv3ds -m -v2 "close.3ds" and rename the file's extension to .bat.
