SW Mod For Allegiance

There's a wicked sw mod coming out for the game allegiance ( http://www.freeallegiance.org/ ) which is basically if u look at it swrebellion + xwing vs tie. It's quite fun once you get a hang of it but it does have a pretty high learning curve. i downloaded it, and let me tell you - getting it up and running is a pain if your using a router, and i don't quite understand some things yet, but i didn't really pay attention to the tutorials, i plan on watching them again, but i'm either to busy or to lazy. But overall i'd say it's pretty fun, there can be alot of players and it's like a huge dogfight sometimes, i like to get in the middle of the action but most of the time it's over by the time i get there

It is a bit of a pain to get going, but I must say, the best free game I've played.

the mod is over half done and unfortunately the devs are not giving a release date :/

Most developers are like that though. If they say "It will be out the end of this week" and they don't give the goods up, people will be angry (Ala Half-Life 2). Then people don't know whether the deadline holds and meaning.
