I need some help with my sound

First off, I want to compliment the designers of this mod. It is completely amazing. The level of work that must have gone in to it is really incredible. That being said, I need a little help. I recently downloaded this mod off the official website. I also acquired the sound pack. When I installed the mod, I had to go to the forums to look at how to make it work. Not a problem, eh? But the only thing is, my sound completely does not work. I downloaded the sound pack and installed it in the directory the .exe sound pack recommended.( Though it did not exist, I created it) I finally got the mod working, but there is absolutely no sound. No backround music, no voices, no sound effects. Can anyone help me? I downloaded the version .29 self-installing mod, and the sound pack (which was also self-installing). Neither came with a readme, so I need some help. Thanks

In the shortcut it should say start in:"C:\Program Files\Sierra\Homeworld2\Bin\Release" Hope this helps.

K now im confused. I havent been able to get the sound to work neither, so ive just been making the sounds up in my room. My mom walks by just to see what the heck the sounds are. I downloaded the pack, now do i put that in Homeworld 2 sound file or what?

I dont at the moment...i think i have to reinstall my game again dangit. Whenever i try to play it, it will seem to start up then all of a sudden it will crash just as fast as it starts up. Think i need to download the graphic driver i had earlier. Cant remember which one it is...but o well
