I need help with sound.

I can get the mod to work, and have also downloaded the music pack and installed it where it said to but there is still no sound when i start the game up.

Have you ensured that you have the appropriate target in a shortcut on your desktop? If you don't, the game will only start up normally. If your problem is sound, be sure that your speakers are on and turned up (not being condescending, it happens sometimes) and be sure that the volume in-game is up. If that doesn't work, try re-installing the game and mod.

Iv got the same problem, the mod works fine, but i have no sound. and does the AI build? i just played a map and scouted the whole thing and never saw a single enemy..and i had it set on 4 AI....

You might want to take a look at the settings you've chosen for your game. Also, make sure that under "Game Type" youve got it set to the Warlords mod. And be sure that you've updated Homeworld to 1.1, otherwise the mod won't work correctly.

i patched it before i installed the mod, my sound settings are all fine, i can play the mod jsut fine but its kindalacking without sound. my big file is the WarlordSV0.29.exe.would that make a diffrence? i used the targets that Kamakazi posted under that cant get mod to work one.

I first tried using the .exe but for some reason it was worse than the .zip with my problem. maybe if you can get your hands on the .zip it will fix your problem?

I'll send it to you if I can. I'm only using a Hotmail account at the momen. I've never much trusted outlook express and didn't really care enough to find another program. I'll see what I can do.
